Website Development Intern

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Assist with website maintenance and updates
  • Create web-accessible versions of Farm Sanctuary literature
  • Create and implement code for new website projects including online petitions and e-cards
  • Create video download center
  • Review and update high resolution photo download center
  • Assist with outlines for Farm Sanctuary website review and reconstruction

Qualifications:

  • Related degree or 1-year work experience preferred
  • Knowledge of web-based photo and video implementation
  • Proficient in web development software
    • Photoshop
    • Dreamweaver
    • HTML and Javascript
    • Flash (preferred)
    • Video software (preferred)

Specifications:

  • Volunteer commitment of 40 hours per week
  • PC based work environment
  • One to three month commitment required
  • Shared housing available on the sanctuary premises
