NYC Development Intern
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Research, identify and develop new corporate partnerships
- Conduct thank you call projects to supporters
- Write thank you letters and fundraising appeals
- Assist with the planning of our Gala for Farm Animals. Duties will include, but are not limited to, obtaining in-kind donations, securing and assisting with celebrity outreach.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and outreach skills
- Knowledge of animal protection issues
- Writing and project management skills
- Strong internet research skills
- Commitment to Farm Sanctuary's goals and programs.
- Related degree or work experience in animal advocacy or nonprofit preferred.
Specifications:
- Volunteer
commitment of 40 hours per week
- One
to three month commitment required
