Campaign Department Intern
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist
with researching issues regarding animal agriculture
- Draft
reports describing the problems associated with factory farming
- Archive
legislative and non-legislative campaign documents (involves filing
and data entry)
- Correspond
with activists, businesses and others to advocate for positive
change (involves phone call projects and written correspondence)
Qualifications:
- Good
communication skills
- Good
attention to detail
- Previous
computer experience
- Previous
work experience
- Previous
experience in vegetarian and/or animal rights advocacy
Specifications:
- Volunteer
commitment of 40 hours per week
- One
to three month commitment required
- Shared
housing available on sanctuary premises
