Weddings & Events

Looking for the perfect place to hold your wedding or event? Why not have it at our California Shelter and celebrate your special day with the rescued animals at Farm Sanctuary. From April through November, you and your guests can enjoy the views across our 300-acre farm and get to know some of the chickens, pigs, cows, and other animals on a tour of the shelter. Facilities
Our People Barn may be used for ceremonies, receptions and other parties. Tables and chairs for 150 people fit comfortably under our large outdoor awning; seating for 300 will fit, but will be close together. Please note that the People Barn is also used for educational purposes as part of our visitor program. While the People Barn can be reserved for a short time during tour hours, it is best to schedule use of the building outside of these hours. Tours are held every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., April through November. The People Barn may be decorated, providing the decorations do not interfere with the tours.

Weather
Below is a list of average temperatures for the months of April through November. Keep in mind, however, that the main space for large groups at our People Barn is partially outdoors (although it is covered) and the weather in Northern California can be a bit unpredictable.

Prices
50 people and under, flat rate charge of $300
51-100 people, flat rate charge of $500
101-300 people, flat rate charge of $750

Tours
Farm Sanctuary would be happy to provide a tour of our shelter and rescued animal residents to your guests.

Mementos
If you are interested in having mementos from the gift store ordered especially for your wedding, we may be able to give you a 20% discount, depending on the quantity ordered.

Food
Out of respect for the animals, all food served at Farm Sanctuary must be vegan. Farm Sanctuary does not have catering facilities. Therefore, if you are planning a dinner, you will need to arrange catering services separately. Please see our list of vegan-friendly caterers in the area.

Entertainment
There are a number of options to choose from if you would like music or entertainment for your event. Please see our list of local DJ’s and bands.

Party Rentals
Farm Sanctuary supplies the facility for your event only. Please see the list below for local places to rent tables, chairs and any other equipment you might need.

Accommodations
Farm Sanctuary’s Country Cabin may be available for overnight guests. The cabin contains one double bed, a kitchenette, a television, and a handicapped-accessible bathroom. The price is $75 per night; there is no charge for additional guests if they are attending the event. Early reservations are always recommended. Deposit
The date for your event will be secured when Farm Sanctuary receives a 25% deposit. The deposit is 100% refundable up to 3 months prior to the date of the reservation.
